{Pattern Feature} Amarel by Rohn Strong

Rohn Strong  is a designer that I have had the pleasure of working with several times over the past few years, starting with his book of vintage knitting patterns, The Heritage Collection, Vol. 1.  I absolutely love his modern takes on timeless vintage classics and am always eager to see what his latest designs are.

Most recently, I sent some of my worsted merino hand dyed yarn to Rohn for a hat pattern that he had been working on.

This is Amarel, inspired by the iconic watchman's cap from the WWII era. This tasteful classic can be worn several different ways and is perfect for both men and women. It is worked in the round, from the brim up and uses only one skein of ontheround worsted merino yarn

Amarel is shown here in Supernova, a limited edition hand painted colorway on my worsted merino yarn
