Free Knitting Pattern - Handspun Popcorn Lace Cowl

This is a super fun and quick beginner lace project designed specifically for thread plied handspun yarn. I used my Rainbow Handspun Yarn in Pastel, but you can try any self striping, or bulky yarn- just be sure to get the correct gauge  If you are a spinner, spin your own yarn using one of my Merino Wool Spinners Pack in either Pastel Rainbow or Bright Rainbow.

Designed to be worn purl side out, this cowl looks almost crocheted! It is lightweight to wear and makes a great gift!

Popcorn Lace cowl modeled by my dramatic 6 year old daughter.

CO 60 sts, join to work in the round being careful not to twist your stitches. Knit 2 rounds even.

  1. Love the colors in this yarn! I'm going to have to talk hubby into buying me some of it for a hat or fingerless gloves! :-)
