Today I remind myself that I am so lucky to get to do what I do- no matter what anyone thinks about it.
I work hard every day, I make beautiful things, and I get to spend almost every waking minute with my beautiful, rambunctious, spirited, and smart baby girl.
Not everyone can look at my life and see how wonderful it is and sometimes that hurts me.
Those people are looking at my life through their eyes, but through my eyes, I have it all.

ReplyDeleteWhen I first caught a glimpse of what you do, and how you spend your days, I thought, "That's how I want my life to be!" :) I can't imagine a better life than being able to raise your baby and make a living creating things you love. Some people just have a different value system. I've discovered that the life most people want, is not the one I want. So I've learned to not care about what others think of what I'm doing. You're right, they're looking through their own eyes, and usually, they can't see anything but what they want to see.
Keep up your amazing work. You're an inspiration to me, and I'm sure to a lot of other people as well.
