Happy Sunday

I find myself all alone on this rainy Sunday morning. A rare treat! The baby is sleeping and the girls are off adventuring with their dad. 

I am fighting the urge to turn on the radio or a podcast, since I rarely get total silence these days. 

I've decided to spend this peaceful moment grinding out some polwarth lux batts on my tired Fancy Kitty carder. 

I have a love hate relationship with my carder. Like most of my tools, I wish they could do more or were in better shape. But today, I am happy with my little kitty,  my quite time, and the cold cup of coffee in my hand.
